Trailer - The Place Beyond the Pines. Excellent looking film from the director of Blue Valentine. What I like about this trailer is how they used dialogue from the film and placed it over scenes stripped of almost any audio. Music wise, Suicide’s “Che” sets the tone of inevitable consequences, while Mike Patton’s “Snow Angel” helps the audience to understand the reasoning behind the characters’ actions. ”You ride like lightning, you’re going to crash like thunder.”
